- Must posess a valid motorcycle operator's license - Unfortunately, No Temporary Permits Allowed.
- Major Credit Card with $2,000 (plus rental total) available credit
- Motorcycles are not permitted into Canada.
- Passengers must be 10 years old or older and must be able to reach the standard pegs with no modifications.
- Unlimited Mileage
- Secure, ample short-term luggage storage is provided at Wilkins Harley-Davidson for you to stow your belongings while on the road
- 24-hour emergency roadside assistance
- All bikes are cleaned, professionally serviced and maintained
- All motorcycles are curent Harley-Davidson® models
- All bikes equipped with saddlebags, windshields and back rests
- Optional Insurance and Lost Damage Waiver available

Frequently Asked Questions.
•I already have motorcycle liability insurance. Can I use my own?
It depends on your insurance company. If your insurance company says that your insurance is transferable to rental motorcycles. we need a
statement sent to us on their letterhead.
•Can you drop the motorcycle that I am renting off at a specific location? Due to time sensitive paperwork all pick up’s and drop off’s must be done at our store location.
•Can someone else besides me ride on the motorcycle? Yes, however all passengers need to be present to sign paperwork when the rental is checked out.
•Do you have riding gear that I can rent for the day?
We can provide you with a helmet and rain gear for no extra charge.

They Even Know Your Name!
As the very first rental at Wilkins Harley-Davidson in Barre, Vermont, I took very seriously the evaluation of not only the staff, the business and its layout, but the rental motorcycle as well. The staff of Wilkins was very well informed and able to answer questions about the rental process quickly, professionally and efficiently. The business itself has stood the test of time, offering not only a legacy of fine service, but a legendary variety of motorclothes and accessories that is second to none. The motorcycle itself was a sparkling new H-D® model, and not only everything I expected but also a great adventure to ride and tour with.
In conclusion, I’d have to say what stuck me most about a rental from Wilkins was the staff. In most businesses nowadays, common old fashioned courtesy has gone out of style. It’s a ‘Get them in and get them out’ type of mentality. This does not exist at Wilkins Harley-Davidson for they have learned the secret that getting personal with your customer is a ‘good’ thing and what’s more… they make it a point to even know your name! To me, that means everything.
