This provides circuit protection on the dedicated, unswitched power feed to the TCU. The fuse holder can be found in the area underneath the seat, next to the Body Control Module (BCM).

In instances of lost communication with TCU DTC’s or TCU function concerns, inspect the condition of this fuse. Then proceed with the diagnostic procedure as written in the service manual.

Later production vehicles will have the TCU receiving power from the 10 A, 12 V Power 1 fuse in the fuse block. This is represented in the wire diagrams of Electrical Diagnostic Manual (EDM).
