Which is better for riding across the country? A Road Glide or a Street Glide?

Both the Harley-Davidson Road Glide and Street Glide are popular touring motorcycles that are well-suited for long-distance rides. However, there are some key differences between the two models that may influence which one is the better choice for you.

The Road Glide is a classic touring motorcycle with a distinctive "shark-nose" fairing that houses its headlights. It has a comfortable and upright riding position, with a large fuel tank and ample storage space. It also has a powerful engine and is well-equipped for long rides, with features such as a high-quality sound system and a built-in navigation system.

The Street Glide, on the other hand, is a more modern touring motorcycle with a streamlined and sleek design. That also offers plenty of storage space and a comfortable ride. It also has a powerful engine and is equipped with many of the same features as the Road Glide, such as a high-quality sound system and navigation system.

Ultimately, the choice between the Road Glide and Street Glide will depend on your personal preferences and needs. If you prefer a more classic and upright riding position, the Road Glide may be the better choice for you. If you prefer a more modern and streamlined design, the Street Glide may be the better choice. It's also a good idea to test-ride both models and see which one feels the most comfortable and manageable for you.
