I walked into Wilkins for the first time juat trying to get an idea of what style bike I wanted to get for my first, Nate not only made sure all my needs were met but also explained everything to me thoroughly to best guide me and make sure I was more than comfortable. He not only made my first harley purchase a positive one, he helped me get a bike that had more sentimentalvalue than just at first glance than I ever expected. Obviously nervous and anxious buying my first bike the staff made me feel comfortable, at home, and helped me through every step of the process exceeding all expectations. They're grace, compassion, support, understanding, knowledge, bright and cheerful moods awestruck me as you usually go into a dealership hesitant to 'just another sales pitch' and anyone who knows Wilkins knows that is not the case here. Wilkins isn't just another dealership they are a home and a family, truly. My experiences with Wilkins always have been and always will be top tier.
Friendly staff. I have been to most every Harley dealership and this one sticks out for how they talk to and treat customers. Amazing job everyone and I look forward to visiting again. My husband and I are big travelers and wherever we go we always make a point to stop at a Harley dealer in the respective area. Wilkins Harley Dealer was by far the BEST Harley dealer we’ve ever had the opportunity to visit!! We were greeted with smiles and great personalities all around! Nate gave us a tour of the entire dealership and even the techs were super friendly!! My husband and I were amazed how they treated us like long lost friends who were super excited to see us and catch up! As we were leaving, we stopped and chatted some more in which I was gifted a red rose and Wilkins Harley merch! Our home town Harley dealers could never compare to Wilkins! John Lyon and his team at Wilkins HD conduct business and treated me the way every customer wants to be treated — during the sale and more importantly post-sale. Even though it’s three hours from me, I shopped Wilkins initially because of reviews and my initial outreach earlier in 2025. In the fall, I purchased an almost new bike after a welcoming and friendly buying experience. Almost immediately I discovered there was a mechanical mounting issue with the bike. John and his service team worked with me to investigate the problem and committed to resolving the issue. Wilkins communicated with the Motor Company resulting in confirmation of a build issue. The MoCo authorized the corrective action under warranty. In addition to all the positive interactions with the Wilkins team, I truly believe that if not for Wilkins great relationship with the MoCo, the outcome may indeed have been different or at least very challenging. Wilkins steps up for their customers. Wilkins is the dealership you want to do business with and build a relationship with. You can see the Wilkins teammates on their website. I must have interacted with 75% of them. All top notch and customer oriented. Was visiting from Texas and stopped by to get some souvenirs. They were closed for the holidays, but John the owner saw us and waived us in after opening the doors. He allowed us to shop for shirts, chips, and mugs even though the registers were not up. He truly knows customer service and how to think outside the box to satisfy customers. Thank you, John for hospitality and history of your family business.
I have been doing business with Wilkins for over 20 years now. I have stepped away from riding for a few years. I’m back after purchasing another Harley Davidson from Wilkins Harley Davidson in Barrie, VT. I have made a friend with John Lyon over the years, so I reached out to him to let him know I was coming. Of course he rolls out the red carpet as he does for all customers. John, his mom and late grandmother Barb has made sure to keep customers happy, comfortable, treated with respect and so much more. When you walk through that front door of the dealership it’s like your home.
I just want to say to John, sales, Financing, Parts (Jordon), clothing specialist, service and all of the staff at Wilkins. You guys knock it out of the park every time! Thank you for treating me and my wife so well!
