The 8 Most Frequently Asked Harley-Davidson Questions in 2025

FAQ (The 8 Most Frequently Asked Harley-Davidson Questions in 2025)

What’s the difference between the Harley-Davidson Street Glide and Road Glide?

The Street Glide features the classic Batwing Fairing, mounted directly to the handlebars. Because it moves with the bars, riders feel closer to the fairing and often describe the riding position as more “sporty.” Being closer also makes it easier to reach and control the touchscreen infotainment system.

The Road Glide, on the other hand, uses a Sharknose Fairing, mounted to the frame instead of the handlebars. This means the fairing doesn’t move with the bars. The rider sits about 4–5 inches farther back, which gives the cockpit more of an “armchair” feel. Many taller riders prefer the Road Glide because of the added space and comfort.

Is there a 2025 Harley-Davidson Ultra Limited?

No, Harley-Davidson does not produce a 2025 Ultra Limited. However, the new Street Glide Ultra provides many of the same comforts and features longtime Ultra Limited fans love — but in a slightly lighter package.

Is there a 2025 Road Glide Limited?

Harley-Davidson did not release a 2025 Road Glide Limited. But here at Wilkins Harley-Davidson, our Parts & Accessories team can help you build your own version: lower fairings, a color-matched touring pack, heated grips, and more.

Can I add speakers to the Street Glide Ultra touring pack?

Not directly with a factory kit. Harley-Davidson does not currently offer a plug-and-play speaker kit for the touring pack. However, Wilkins Harley-Davidson engineered our own custom solution for riders who want audio in the pack — it’s possible, but not simple.

How do I set up Apple CarPlay on a Harley-Davidson Street Glide or Road Glide?

For 2024 and 2025 models, you’ll need:  An iPhone with Siri enabled

  • Location Services on

  • Microphone access enabled

  • A compatible Bluetooth headset, such as the Packtalk system

  • Once your iPhone and headset are paired with the motorcycle, Apple CarPlay will be available.

Do aftermarket slip-on exhausts void my Harley warranty?

No — slip-ons do not void your warranty. But they can impact it. Here’s how:  Some slip-ons are high quality, tested, and engineered for performance.  Others hit the market quickly without testing, and may negatively affect your bike’s drivability.  If poor performance results from the exhaust itself, Harley-Davidson won’t cover that under warranty. But the rest of your warranty stays intact.

When will the new 2026 Harley-Davidson models be released?

  • Carryover models (unchanged except for color updates) arrive in November 2025.

  • New or redesigned models will debut in January 2026, showcasing Harley’s latest features and paint options.

Will my old Harley seat fit the new touring bikes?

If your seat came from a pre-2024 Touring or pre-2023 CVO model, it won’t fit the redesigned frames. Harley’s Helix-style tank (introduced in 2024 Touring models) means older seats won’t connect properly at the front.

Our advice: if your seat is worn out anyway, it’s the perfect time to upgrade.
