Above and Beyond

From my experience with the Rider Academy to purchasing a bike, I cannot say enough good things about the folks at Wilkins Harley. These folks go above and beyond to make you feel welcome whether you're buying a motorcycle or not.Being brand new to the motorcycling world, I was fairly apprehensive going into the Rider Academy. This quickly evaporated as Eric made something that is mentally and physically exhausting so much fun. He was serious when he needed to be, incredibly encouraging and very patient. He pushed me to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone and helped me gain confidence. This kind of environment was exactly what I needed as a new rider and afterward I felt fully prepared to go out on the road, hearing Eric's voice guiding me through the whole ride.Two weeks later I decided to trade in my brand new sport bike for a Harley and again could not have asked for anything better. Mike worked hard to ensure that I had the bike that was perfect for me. He was informative in every way, honest and fun! From the initial test rides to the final paperwork and the "Ticket to Ride", the hospitality I was given was above and beyond, just top notch. I would hang out with these folks every week if I could. Thank you Mike, John, Marc, Jenna, Chris, Eric and everyone else for an exceptional (and fun!) experience buying my first Harley! I can't wait to come see you guys again!

Worth the Drive

Check engine light came on my 17 ultra limited while traveling through northern Vermont this past weekend 4th of July, stopped in the dealership to get an idea if we could continue on or if something more serious, OB and staff where excellent, took us in for an emergency diagnostic, gave us a bike to ride to go get some breakfast while they checked out what caused the issue, by the time we got back from breakfast my bike was sitting out side, they gave us the result (o2 sensor), knowing we were traveling through, they were very helpfull in getting us back on the road as soon as possible with no pressure on having the service done there but did reassure us that although it should be replaced continuing on would be ok, that was a big piece of mind for us, I'm actually the one that asked cost and time to replace the sensor which without ever doing any business there was very surprised on how reasonable for cost and floor time do to their scheduled work load ( they would have got us in and out within 1-2 hrs), if we did not still have a long day ahead of us, would have had the work done there!! over all walked out of the dealership within couple hrs, including diagnosis, getting breakfast, talking to sales on some differences on bikes again with no pressure! on top of it all at no cost for

anything, everything done was at courtesy of the dealership, even knowing we lived 200+ miles away. Great people and pleasurable experience. Worth the drive to do business there, if you are in the market of buying, service or just visiting, stop in there you won't be dissatisfied. Thank you OB in service and Eric in sales and the rest of the staff we met for all your help, finished our road trip with no issues.PPP

Ritz Carlton of Harley Dealers

John, We met after I purchased my first HD back in September. My neighbor is Katie Armstrong. She had made it very clear that you ran a premium dealership. At this point, after multiple interactions with your team, I can tell you that she was 110% on the money! I have never experienced such consistency from a team, not since I stayed at a Ritz-Carlton. You should be proud!

Performance Work without all the talk

I just want to say how great the Wilkins service team is. I have a place that claims to be a dyno tuner very close to me that does performance work on Harleys. They will spend all day talking to you about the build. until they have to dial the bike in on the dyno. I spent a lot of money with them. I brought the bike to Wilkens because the local performance shop could not get it to run right. 2 hours later, the bike was running substantially better and higher horsepower. I wont ever consider using anyone else but Wilkens Harley. Oh yeah, when wilkens cleaned my bike, they buffed all the scratches out that the other place made in doing the work. You want honest performance work done. See the team down in Barre.

Great Group of People

I have never dealt with a better bunch of people like the men and women at Wilkin's Harley-Davidson. They cared, listened and took note of everything I said concerning the motorcycle I was purchasing. What they didn't do, was try to over sell or push me into buying something I didn't need or want. All in all, they are a GREAT group of people to deal with when looking to buy a new motorcycle or just new to you.

Experience was Excellent

I recently stopped at your location over the weekend and I must say that Wilkins H-D is just that, a great dealership. The staff are the most friendly of anywhere that I have ever been. From the moment I walked in, to when I left, the staff were very helpful and friendly. My experience was excellent. Even when I was walking to my vehicle in the parking lot, staff members who were leaving, waved and said, "Have a nice day". I will definitely be recommending this dealership to friends and family.

In a Class All by Itself

Wilkins Harley is in a class all by itself! The latest reason? A friend of a friend bought a new 2022 Trike out here in Arizona and had several custom parts installed at time of delivery. When it came to the bars, they asked me and a friend if we would install them as we have worked on our own bikes for years She already had heated grips installed, but they were exterior bar wired only. And even though we know a trick as how to modify these for "in-bar" wiring, we wouldn't do this on someone else's bike. So she bought another set of heated grips that could be internally wired. I have service manuals for a 2020 and a 2021, but Harley changed wiring in the fairing for 2022 and we could not find the P/A connector for the grips. The old ones were 3-wire and was run under the tank to the P/A under the seat. After a long time hunting for that connection, I told my friend "I know who to call". Since I talk up Wilkins all the time he knew who I was calling and said "really?". Adrian answered and I asked to speak with Tom, Service Manager. Tom was busy so I explained what my issue was. He asked to hold a minute, came back on and said he was connecting me to Marisa. Since I've known her from prior work I knew she could answer my questions. I ran through what we had, she acknowledged it to be correct, and explained where that P/A was located now. "Anything else you need just call me"! My friend was blown away that this happened and said "I'm a believer in that dealer being the best!". One small reason on why Wilkins is the best, even though they are 2,600 miles away from me and thank you everyone there!

Total Respect

A friend and I attended a 75th anniversary event on 11/12/22 at Wilkins HD. I had intended to buy a new bike in the spring, however after arriving at the event and watching Wilkins employees interact with the approximate 500 people in attendance (they greeted numerous people by first name) like they were friends. I changed my mind and decided to buy that day. I spoke with Mike a salesman and he amazed me I told him my reasons for wanting a new ride, he showed me three bikes and did not try to push me any which way nor did he try to talk me into something I didn't want. I picked an Ultra limited with the Apex black paint. Mike then introduced me to Jenna who was to do the paperwork. After about 45 minutes the paperwork was done. Jenna then introduced me to another employees (sorry I forgot his name) who walked me thru the different departments and what they could do for me. i was then walked thru the operation and its options right at the bike demonstrating what he was explaining.

I also spoke with the owner John and found him to be a caring and attentive person. While standing next to the bike a customer who I did not know came up to me and gave me a bell to attach to the bike to keep the legend of the bell going. This was amazing to me as it reflects on the environment and attitude that the owner and employees have created. Wilkins HD is one unique dealership and have my total respect. Thanks again for a totally great experience.

Great Experience

Great Experience, No pressure, Stopped by on way through Vt, Picked out bike and completed rest of sale online/via mail and had the bike delivered! They made it simple, yet meaningful. I live 3 hours from Wilkins and now understand why people travel to do business with them.
